One of their starters, Kevin McDonald, decided to leave the stadium after getting pulled in the first half of a 6-1 thrashing vs. Man City ... to go have a beer with his dad at a local bar. Awesome.
Now that's a team player. In fairness, at the time of his removal, the Burn-dogs were down 5-nil. So really, there was no reason for him to watch the scrubs to play out the game, right? Completely understandable. Dennis Rodman used to take his shoes off when he knew he wasn't going back into a game, and we thought that was ballsy.

Also, it was good to see the Clarets pull off a 4-1 decision over Hull City in their quest to avoid demotion. Now they're four points under the relegation line with four games to go.

Finally a reason to root for Burnley...but they're still going to get relegated. lol
Burnley will drive anyone to drink. This is a team that had its manager leave for freakin' Bolton midway through the season when things were far less bleak (I think Burnley was at 13th in the table when Owen Croyle bounced).
